What’s so great about G/25 quads?
• Champions of each quad win a $30 cash prize or chess merchandise!
• You get grouped with players that have a rating close to yours.
• It is a nice environment for beginners to start playing rated chess
because they are playing other players of similar rating.
• You get a few, fun games of chess in to celebrate the weekend.
• You get to enjoy the rest of your Saturday! The event should
conclude in less than 3 hours!

You can purchase a year membership to the USCF at the door (cash/check only). USCF Membership Fees (w/o magazine):

Rules: G/25 (25 minutes per side) w/ a 3-second delay, 4-player round robin format. Notation is NOT required for these matches. Quads will be created based on the most recent quick rating available online (not necessarily published). If no quick rating is available, the most recent standard rating available online will be used. Unrated players will be assigned to a section at the discretion of the tournament director. Games are quick-rated only (do not affect standard ratings). In the event that 5 or 7 players are in the lowest-rated swiss section, that section will become four rounds. If there are 7 players, the 2nd place finisher will win back his/her entry fee (excluding any add’l online payment fee). No-shows forfeit entry fee.
